Adolf Hitler

Malina & Elizabeth

Adolf Hitler was born in Branau am Inn, Austria, on April 20, 1889. He was the son of Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. His father disagreed with hitlers interest in fine art rather than business and distanced himself from his family due to not getting along with his father. Adolf then found interest in German nationalism and did not like being controlled by Austria-Hungary. He did not like the idea of being controlled by others and if he didnt get it his way, he would want others to suffer.  Adolf said that “ Germany will either be a world power or will not be at all”. This pride toward Germany corrupted his mind and  made him the person he is today. When alois died in 1903 his mother allowed him to drop out of school and applied to the academy of fine arts but got rejected twice. Adolf then applied to serve the german military. Due to already being depressed about his relationship with his father, killing others corrupted his mind to crave killing more and more.

Adolf Hitler was known for his obsessive need for authority over the people of Germany. He was the type of person who constantly wanted control and because of this he did what he needed to do to gain that power. The roots of hitlers anti-semitism are still unknown but he had strong resentment towards the Jewish because he felt that they were the ones to blame for the countries defeat in 1918. When President Paul von Hindenburg died, Hitler saw that as an oppourtunity to become fuhrer, supreme ruler of Germany. He continued to be even more of a selfish and heartless guy towards the Jews. A little after the war had ended, Hitler joined the National Socialist German Workers’ Party A.K.A Nazis. In March 1933, the first concentration camp was opened in Dachau, Germany consisting most of Communists. These German camps held about 27,000 people in “protective custody”. Germany started doing mass transportations and they started by taking the people who were least useful, for example, the sick, old, weak, and young ones. In this time, more than 12,000 jews were killed daily making this one of the biggest genocide events occured in history.

Famous quotes of Adolf Hitler:

“Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice.”
“I do not see why man should not be just as cruel as nature.”
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

Acts of inhumanity

On december 14, 2012 Twenty children and six adults are killed at the sandy hook elementary school by a 20-year-old man named Adam Lanza. That morning adam killed his 52 year old mother and drove her car to the elementary that was 5 miles away. He got to the elementary and kills Principal Hochsprung, school psychologist Mary Sherlach and injured Vice Principal Natalie Hammond to get inside of the school. He then walks down the aisle to substitute teacher Lauren Rousseau and kills 14 children. He then walks into Victoria Soto's class and killed Six children, Mrs Soto and a teacher's aide. He ends his life in the same classroom which ended his rampage in 11 minutes. Adam murdered innocent people from an act of revenge from getting bullied at this school when he was a child and felt like the school betrayed him and wanted to " get back ".Adamn suffered from sensory processing disorder, he was shy and did not like to be touched by anyone but his mother.Adam and his mother loved guns and spent a lot of time shooting at gun ranges because she felt like it was a way to bond with each other . After the massacre investigators found more than 1,600 rounds of ammunition, two rifles, a BB gun, a starter’s pistol, nine knives, a 7-foot spear, a bayonet and three samurai swords. He also loved playing violent games and cod which may have influenced him to do what he did. He felt like he had to get revenge at this elementary school and used this hobby as a way to do so.

Boston Marathon Bombing

On April 15, 2013, the 117th annual Boston, Massachusetts marathon took place. There were about 23,000 participants who had been involved in the event that day and unknowingly and unfortunately, two bombs had been set off near the finish line of the marathon. Three people had been killed and around 260 of them had been seriously injured. According to CNN news and FBI, the two bombs were contained in pressure cookers and hidden in the backpacks of the suspects. 8 year old Martim Richard was cheering on his dad at the end of the finish line and was one of the victims who had been killed that day because of the bombings. His sister, 6 years old, had lost her leg but was fortunate enough to have survived the attack. President Barrack Obama stated, “We will get to the bottom of this,” the president said. “We will find who did this, and we will find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice.”

Allusion Poem Final

The human world.... is a mess
but she was innocent and sweet
yet curious of the things she not yet knows
only wanting to experience things she was always told no
curious yet scared of what could be,
whats so bad about rebelling?
Someone hurry and please tell me

Her parents had loved her dearly, there was no doubt
they hid her from all the bad things of this world
but she just wanted a way out
in the sea, protected and sheltered for all her life
all she was taught was to be obeying, friendly, and nice
who would've guess this would be
the innocent and sweet girl turned into someone she never wanted to see

She took the risk and went after something so unsure
he was different, way different
she was a bold and strong girl yet fragile and sensitive
she never wanted something (someone) so much
who would've thought that something she was always told was wrong,
could feel so right?

He made her happy and happiness was all she felt
she fell faster than expected but still,
deep down, a part of her thought it would last
she was so wrong because now
he's only a part of her past

All she felt was hurt, broken, and crushed
who knows, maybe things were just a little too rushed
he told her she had done something wrong
but that's all he said
and though it hurt, she remained strong
maybe it just wasn't meant to be
the least she deserved was an explanation
but she hadn't even gotten that

he's different, way different but
its just another lesson learned
she should've listened to what they had to say
but she has no doubt that she'll be okay
wondering free, wishing she could be,
part of their world

Angry Letter rough draft

P.O box 180
Honolulu, Hi, 96782
December 3, 2014

1160 Kuala Street
Suite 208

Pearl City, HI 96782

Dear AT&T Administration,

My family and I have been satisfied customers of AT&T for many years now. Your great network connections, on-phone customer services and variety selection of phones have kept us proud customers and gave no reason for us to switch carriers for the past 10 years.

However, with the new system you folks have created, we were for the first time, quite unsatisfied. Just this past week, my family and I went in to get upgrades and change our data plans. We were planning on making a quick run to AT&T and continuing on with the things we needed to do that night. We decided to do a walk-in and when we got there, we were put on the waiting list and were notified that it would take about 20-30 minutes for an open appointment. We were very understanding with the wait because we knew that like any other place, there is a line. We ended up waiting for over an hour and as we were waiting, we realized that there were about 2-3 families who got helped before us, even though we were waiting for quite some time. After waiting for over an hour, we were called in by one of the sales associates. When we brought the issue up with him, he said that those families were allowed to walk in and be helped immediately because they had already scheduled an appointment beforehand. I understand that it is an option to schedule an appointment before coming down to the store but I feel that after a certain amount of time, it would be best to take in customers who are on the waiting list and consider their needs instead of waiting for the people who set up their appointment, to even come to the store.

In addition, there were a few workers on the computers, while we were waiting to be helped. Those workers weren't helping any customers at the time and I'm sure that they were doing work but I feel that its not a good display to customers because it leaves a wondering thought about why those extra workers aren't helping serve other people.

Through this all, our sales associate was very polite and pleasant. He sympathized with our disappointment and apologized for the long wait. He also excellently helped us with our cellphones as well. With all respect to those who do schedule appointments, I do not think that people who are late to appointments should be helped before customers who are already there and waiting.

I have no objection to your policies of how to handle appointments and customers but feel that you should do a better job of taking care of them and of accurately informing them of the way things are ran; preventing the confusion and un-satisfaction of customers.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Quillopo
